6BC receives no regular funding from the city or other outside sources;* the cost of running and maintaining the garden is entirely paid for by member dues, usage fees—and our contributors.
Contributions are normally tax-deductible; You should check with your tax adviser to make sure this applies to you. 6BC Botanical Garden, Inc. is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501.C3 non-profit corporation.
Usually, your gift can benefit the garden most if it is unrestricted. But we know there are times when you would like to honor or memorialize someone by supporting a particular garden project or purchase, and we will be happy to discuss this with you.
